In this book, the author examines the central contradiction that runs through our time: the tension between a global, capitalist, and mechanistic civilization and the organic ways of inhabiting the earth preserved by diverse cultures. From this perspective, he argues that Intercultural Philosophy, rooted in the organicity of life, is called upon to critically confront the homogenizing dynamic of mechanistic thought and to accompany the intercultural unfolding of the lifeworlds.
