Ph.D. at the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) with the thesis entitled “O começo de deus”, which deals with the concept of start in Schelling. Under the research program “Tiempo, memoria y representación”, her philosophical work deals with the role of the imagination and the image in phenomenological and hermeneutical thinking, which she conceptualizes as “imaginative hermeneutics”. This concept was used for the first time in the context of her readings of medieval philosophy. In addition, she does research into the concept of intermediate as a hermeneutic category.

He completed his habilitation work (facultas docendi ) at the Ernst-Moritz-Arndt-Universität Greifswald in 2004. Ph.D. in Philosophy from the Universität Basel. He studied Philosophy, church and dogma history, and German literature at the Universität Basel, the Georg-August-Universität Göttingen and the Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg. In 2001 he was a visiting scholar at the School for Advanced Study of the University of London, and between 1998 and 1999 he was a visiting researcher at the Princeton University. From 2013 and 2014 he was a visiting professor at the Staatliche Hochschule für Gestaltung in Karlsruhe.
